Fall Events in St. Louis

St. Louis City Center at Night

Looking to drive your new Hyundai into St. Louis for fun fall activities with your family? The staff at Suntrup Hyundai South knows all the best ones happening in September and October! Whether you're looking for food, art, music, or just open-air, these St. Louis fall festivals and parties are sure to keep your weekends packed.

Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival

Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival was first organized 17 years ago by a small group of passionate music lovers who wanted a great party downtown. Since then, this award-winning festival has grown to well over 12,000 annual attendees and features original music, delicious food and drink, and unique shopping spread out among dozens of vendors. Now hosted every September, Old Webster features two family-friendly stages showcasing the best jazz and blues on the planet, while street entertainers paint faces, juggle, and tie balloons. Kids, strollers, and lawn chairs are all welcome, and there's no cover charge!

Oktoberfest St. Louis

Celebrate the spirit of the old German beer hall with Oktoberfest St. Louis in late September, sponsored by Urban Chestnut Brewing Company (UCBC). With a full polka lineup on two stages, and plenty of food and bier (read: beer), visitors always let their guard down and smiles show, making for a fun weekend of foolishness and revelry. Want to bring your kids? Stop by on Sunday for circus performers and non-alcoholic activities abound, including cookie decorating, coloring stations, and more.

Best of Missouri Market

The spirit of St. Louis roots grows above the ground for a full weekend in early October at the Best of Missouri Market. The market features more than 120 crafters and food producers selling everything from dried flowers to wooden toys. The whole event happens under tents, rain or shine, so even in the case of inclement weather, you and your family are sure to find plenty to do and great gifts to buy. Enjoy live music, a kids craft corner, and a number of fun fall activities sure to break the monotony as temperatures drop.

Historic Shaw Art Fair

The Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association (SNIA) has hosted the Shaw Art Fair in early October for more than 25 years on the parkway over Flora Place at Tower Grove Avenue Parkway. A premier fine art and fine craft fair in the St. Louis area, a number of art fair magazines and more than 135 participating artists and craftspeople from around the country flock to the event every year, and participate in the professionally juried competitions, along with live music, a food court, and children's area.

St. Louis International Film Festival

See the stars and auteur directors of tomorrow this November at the 27th Annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival, where more than 400 films will be screened before reaching theaters or becoming next year's cult classic or hidden gems. Many of the films screened here won't show up in St. Louis cinemas again, and many are critically-lauded award winners, so be sure you don't miss your chance to see them as they were meant to be!
