My son totaled his car on May 7, we left for vacation on May 8, and Doug drove out of Suntrup Hyundai on May 17 with a loaded 2019 Terrain for what we considered a very fair price.. If it wasn't for Luke Lafond, we would have been in a big mess as we live ten miles apart, so sharing a car was not feasible, and rental fees are ridiculous. Luke found the car, had a new battery installed, cleaned it up and gassed it up within hours. Luke has genuine customer service skills, knowledge, and a real desire to serve his customers. We will be back and will definitely recommend Luke to friends and family. Thank you, Luke and the Suntrup Team!

There were some confusion when we first came in.
There were some confusion when we first came in. The Sales Manager was unsure about what he informed us on and we left the dealership very pissed of. Brett was wonderful in explaining to the sales manager and too is the mixup. I only returned and purchased the vehicle based on the Service from Brett. The process went well today and Everyone was very friendly and professional.

I was really impressed working with Kyle and Mike in sales. I worked to set up my appointment with Mike and he was extremely responsive and answered all my questions leading up to the test drive. At the dealership I worked with Kyle to do the test drive and get more information. He was extremely knowledgeable and transparent about everything. Frank in finance was also amazing to work with. Overall I had a great buying experience and would go back again for future purchases.

This will probably be taken down I am sure. I bought my 2020 Elantra new in 2020 and had every service, Oil changes) , recalls done at this dealership. when my car had gotten close to 19000 miles I started hearing a taping noise in my engine. probably for a straight year of taking my car in for regular oil changes I told them about this tapping noise, each and every time they documented it on my invoice of not finding anything wrong. eventually in the last few months my engine was making a terrible roaring noise and I immediately took it back in and ask them to investigate. The same day they called me in the afternoon and told me the car was unsafe to drive that the motor needed to be replaced. they said the cylinders were scored. Apparently with the fact of not finding anything wrong in that there was a tapping noise at all the oil changes, My engine was using oil and had did all this damage during this time. The engine was then replaced in January 2022. After having it back about a month I have taken my car back to service for oil leakage 3 times and got the run around about getting a loaner car for getting back and forth to work. What next???? My car has only 23000 miles on it at the present time and I am afraid to take it too far from home. I work less than 5 miles from work so that is a good thing. I am not sure what to do from here but keep corporate customer care informed of all updates. I know the service advisers are over their heads in keeping up with it all.

I HATE DEALING WITH NEW CAR DEALERS........But I was pleasantly surprised by the people at the Suntrup dealer. I was expecting to be pressured and cajoled into buying a new car with all kinds of extra unwanted equipment and services by a high-pressured salesperson, just like you see in those old "B" movies on TV. This was not the case. My salesperson was Kyle Durbin, he is such a nice young man, well-mannered and very knowledgeable about the Genesis G80 that I had selected. There was no pressure, he was more of an advisor and helper in my selection of what I needed for my new car. Kyle epitomizes the high quality of the salespeople at the Suntrup Hyundai and Genesis Dealership. They should be very proud that they have a salesperson like Kyle. He was eager to hit the road and show me what they had in stock. We went on a couple test drives and he answered my questions and demonstrated the features I was interested in. I've been trying to find these cars for months and my luck was Suntrup had them. I told David what I could do financially and he didn't flinch. Overall, I do not have much good to say about Suntrup.
Overall, I do not have much good to say about Suntrup. I will start by saying though that the only good part that came out of the experience was on one of the visits was working with Enrique. He was kind, polite, knowledgeable about the vehicles, and had a passion for what he was doing. I unfortunately really do not have much good beyond that to say about Suntrup. On more than one visit I had to wait at least 15+ minutes each time just to be able to be helped / talk to someone. In addition to this wait time, when contacting them over the phone, I was connected to a salesman with a condescending tone, and a rush to get through the call. He seemed to have little to no interest in helping. Additionally, on one of the trips there, I was met by a salesman who not only belittled me, but was also extremally uncommitted to any type of discussion. Lastly, as a side note, Suntrup had several of their vehicles marked up several thousands past MSRP. When considering a Hyundai dealership for your next vehicle, I would definitely consider a different one.

Hopefully he won't be that way with someone else but I won't go back just so I won't have to deal with him if another problem would arise. I'd give him -5 stars if that were an option. When my vehicle was finished he brought me my keys, went over the service they performed on my vehicle and walked with me to where my vehicle was parked and made sure I was satisfied with the service.
